Liz Eggins

Liz is a part-time Clinical Psychologist in the Perinatal Wellbeing Team at MNMH and part-time in private practice. Prior to and during her Clinical Psychology training, Liz worked for over 12 years at Brisbane universities in teaching and research roles with a focus in criminology and early developmental crime prevention. Before coming to the Perinatal Wellbeing Team, Liz was the Manager of Data Analytics and Evaluation at MNMH. In her perinatal role, she works in a clinician-research capacity. Liz has a special interest in neurodevelopmental assessment and has extensive experience with a range of neuropsychological tools and other measures to support assessments across the life-course. She has wide-ranging experience with many different presentations, including: Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties, cognitive and executive function difficulties, and general childhood development (e.g., Global Developmental Delay). She also continues to contribute to research in related areas (e.g., FASD, ADHD). Liz is passionate about evidence/research and about providing a neuro-affirming and culturally sensitive approach to assessment and her overall therapeutic approach.
