Dr Sumi Britton is an Infectious Diseases physician at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Brisbane, with an interest in infections in pregnancy and is actively involved as part of an MDT in the care of women with syphilis and/or HIV in pregnancy. Sumi is also involved in policy and guideline development around syphilis in pregnant women and is a member of the Congenital Syphilis Working group with Queensland Maternal and Perinatal Quality Council (QMPQC).
