Associate Professor Lata Vadlamudi is a Senior Staff Specialist in Neurology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Epileptologist within the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. She is the Brain, Neurology and Mental Health Theme Lead at the Frazer Institute, The University of Queensland and the Vice-President of the Epilepsy Society of Australia. She runs a dedicated Women and Epilepsy clinic at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Her research interests include women with epilepsy and precision therapies for drug-resistant epilepsy. She leads a Women with Epilepsy Research program at the Frazer Institute undertaking a current project entitled Women with Epilepsy in Later Life (WELL) study.
