Jelena Senic

Jelena Senic is a Social Worker and domestic and family violence specialist with over 14 years of experience across community and health sectors. Her practice has spanned crisis response, women’s shelters, intensive family support, and high risk domestic and family violence services across metropolitan, regional, and remote Queensland.
In her current role within Queensland Health, Jelena leads workforce development initiatives focused on best-practice, trauma-informed responses to domestic and family violence. She provides training, consultation, and strategic support to health professionals with a particular interest in the intersection of trauma, coercive control and healthcare.
Jelena is also the Director of Jelena Senic Consultancy, where she provides professional supervision and specialist domestic and family violence training and consultation to practitioners across health and community sectors.
